- The Problem
Over 52 million orphaned children struggle to thrive,
for various reasons, predominantly parental absence(children abandoned by mothers and especially fathers), or often due to the loss of parents to HIV/AIDS(as estimated by UNICEF, 2022). These children lack the basic necessities and are at risk of poverty, marginalization and leaving them in a vulnerable place through no fault of theirs.
